Wine connoisseurs onboard the new luxury Genting Dream will be able to sample some of the best vinos from Australia from the historic winemaker Penfolds.

The cruise line announced it will have onboard the first Penfolds Flagship Wine Vault at sea. There will be an array of rare wines and fine vintages including the Penfolds Bin 170 which celebrates the winemaker’s 170th anniversary as well as the Penfolds Grange 2010.

For the white wine drinkers, there is the Penfolds Yattarna which is a beautiful crisp and refreshing white wine.

There will also be food pairing opportunities as the chefs onboard the Genting Dream will match their culinary delights with the wine.

Also as part of the collaboration, the wine vault will also have the special Penfolds Aevum Imperial Service Ritual which is a special vessel that’s designed to hold the 2012 Penfolds Grange Imperial.

Mr. Thatcher Brown, Dream Cruises President, said, “We are delighted that Genting Dream will not only provide our guests with the finest vintages that this legendary wine maker has to offer, but that we will also be able to showcase one of only five of the exquisite Penfolds Aevum Imperial Service Rituals. This perfectly matches our commitment to bring dreams to life through a luxury vacation experience with only the finest products, service and standards – values that are shared by Dream Cruises and our newest partner, Penfolds.”

Mr. Peter Gago, Penfolds Chief Winemaker, said: “It is extremely exciting to be part of the history-making inauguration of Genting Dream. As wine culture becomes an increasingly important part of the luxury travel experience, it’s my pleasure to see the extremely rare Penfolds Aevum Imperial Service Ritual find its home aboard this magnificent cruise ship. We look forward to a continued partnership with Dream Cruises to offer a truly unique wine experience featuring collectible wines and rare vintages at the new Penfolds Wine Vault at sea.”
